![]() ![]() ![]() When I unplug the USB cable from the Audiobox USB and reconnect, it recognizes the MIDI. But I found files which had presonos in the middle of the name and wrongly deleted them. I have the latest GarageBand and have the latest driver (2.5), according to the universal control. Not having hands & eyes on your system can only lead to guess work at best. If you are serious about music production & only have resources for one laptop, I would recommend flipping your current unit & getting a proper system. Refurbished units with warranty can be found for half the cost of new units. ![]() Something built for video editing & rendering usually has everything needed to get started with audio production. These can have a negative effect working with audio programs that require 'steady state' system resources (Pro Tools, S1, DP, Sam X4, Mixbus).Ī Workstation level laptop is a better choice for audio production. Also, when restarting Studio One 2, there are two alerts saying 'Failed to open speakers (Audiobox USB)' and 'Audio Playback is disabled'. When I try to create a song, I can hear what I speak into the mic, but no metronome or playback. Gaming laptops usually have bios &/or software settings for voltage & timing settings to name a few. After installation and registration I cant see the Audiobox USB on the Audio Device settings (screenshot below).
